Rinto is a character of the day who appeared in JN051. Rinto first appeared at Rock Tunnel, watching the World Coronation Series battle between Ash and Genba. After seeing Farfetch'd run off after defeating Genba's Gurdurr, Rinto spoke to Ash about Farfetch'd's huge potential and had a battle against Ash and Farfetch'd using his Gallade and won with just one move of his Pokémon.
