Although he only appears for a few minutes in one episode of the series, he seems to show a very exaggerated form of fatherly doting toward his daughter Sernia. Upon seeing her, he greets her with many kisses as an exaggerated form of the European custom to place a kiss on either cheek; this even scares Akiharu when he holds him in a bone-cracking man hug. He appears to support Selnia engaging in strange activities and even mistakens Akiharu as Sernia's lover.
