Rice the Dog is present during the first few Gantz missions Kurono and the gang go on and is one of the animal members of the Tokyo Team. He never gets any points because of "too much tongue/tail wagging". He is present in every mission until he is replaced by the panda. Rice was abandoned on a walk by its owner, who ran away from him.
