A tachi renowned since ancient times as a treasured heirloom.According to one theory, it is a blade that hails from the very transitional period during which Japanese swords were evolving into the distinct form now known as the Nihonto. Consequently, while his appearance is reminiscent of a crow-like youth, the other swords are, so to speak, his children, and he behaves as their father.
