A tantou crafted by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu. One of the Toushirou brothers. It is a practical tantou—specifically an Yoroi-toushi (armor-piercer)—designed for use in close-quarters grappling; its blade boasts an impressive thickness of 10mm at the base. Its completely straight profile, devoid of any curvature, seems to mirror his personality—direct and unbending, like a bamboo stalk split clean in two. He takes a quiet pride in the fact that so many renowned military commanders have numbered among his past masters.
