Kouzuki Sukiyaki was the former shogun of Wano Country, the father of the daimyo of Kuri, Kouzuki Oden, and the grandfather of Kouzuki Momonosuke and Kouzuki Hiyori. Sukiyaki appeared to be a strict and fair ruler, as he was willing to disown and exile his own son, Oden, for his violent actions. Shimotsuki Yasuie believed this was simply a sign of Sukiyaki's tough love for his son and a way to get him to mend his ways.
